Soccer Recap: South Christian Extends Home Winning Streak to Four

South Christian and Northview faced off in a cross-town battle on Wednesday. The Sailors never let the Wildcats get on the board and left with a 5-0 win. Considering South Christian have won three contests by more than four goals this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

South Christian's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-1. Those home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 19 goals over those four games. As for Northview, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South Christian will welcome West Catholic at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Northview, they will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Thornapple Kellogg at 6:45 p.m.
