Volleyball Recap: Harlem Huskies vs. Hononegah Indians

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Harlem couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell just short of the Hononegah Indians by a score of 2-1 on Thursday. The loss continues a trend for the Huskies in their meetings with the Indians: they've now lost four in a row.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Harlem sadly dropped the once that decided the match. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 19-25, 25-17.

Hononegah's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Owen Rollinson led the charge by getting 29 assists and ten digs. Rollinson is on a roll when it comes to assists, as he's now posted 14 or more in each of the last 21 games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jack Allen, who had 11 kills and 11 digs.
