Basketball Game Preview: Altamont Indians vs. Teutopolis Wooden Shoes

Altamont is 0-5 against Teutopolis since January of 2019 but things could change on Thursday. Having just played yesterday, the Altamont Indians will get right back to it and host the Teutopolis Wooden Shoes at 6:00 p.m. Altamont will be strutting in after a win while Teutopolis will be coming in after a defeat.

On Wednesday, Altamont didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Farina South Central, but they still walked away with a 46-42 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Indians.

Teutopolis has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They took a hard 54-38 fall against Mater Dei on Monday.

Altamont has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-15 record this season. As for Teutopolis, their loss dropped their record down to 20-8.

Altamont was dealt a bruising 65-36 defeat at the hands of Teutopolis when the teams last played back in January of 2024. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point Altamont was down 39-16.
