North Eugene's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Springfield with a sharp 15-0 win. The Highlanders might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten games by ten runs or more this season.

North Eugene's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-12. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Springfield, they are on a 35-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-18.
