Basketball Recap: Alpena Comes Up Short

If Alpena was feeling good fresh off their 57-26 takedown of Eureka Springs last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Alpena Leopards fell to the Decatur Bulldogs 38-33. The Leopards were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bulldogs earlier this season, when they won 65-34.

Alpena's defeat dropped their record down to 11-18. As for Decatur, they pushed their record up to 8-9 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

The future could be bright for both Alpena and Decatur: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently.
