Baseball Recap: Seattle Christian's Luck Changes for the Better on Saturday

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Bellevue Christian, Seattle Christian was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They came out on top against the Sultan Turks by a score of 10-6. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Warriors as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Will Aaby spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three earned (and three unearned) runs on ten hits.

At the plate, Seattle Christian got a massive performance out of Henry Carpinito, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and one double. Those three hits gave Carpinito a new career-high. Jack Hilburn was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, two RBI, and one run.

The win got Seattle Christian back to even at 7-7. As for Sultan, their loss was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-11.

Seattle Christian will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Turks: the pair will be back at it again later today.
