Basketball Game Preview: Alleluia Community Angels vs. Coastal HomeSchool Hurricanes

The Alleluia Community Angels will head out to take on the Coastal HomeSchool Hurricanes at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. Both have had a bumpy ride up to this point with six consecutive losses for Alleluia Community and three for Coastal HomeSchool.

Alleluia Community managed to keep up with Augusta Prep Day until halftime on Friday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Alleluia Community came up short against Augusta Prep Day, falling 53-30. The matchup marked the Angels' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Meanwhile, Coastal HomeSchool ended up a good deal behind Rowan County on Monday and lost 61-42.

Alleluia Community will have to keep a close watch on Micah Faith and Landon Essenburg, a pair of players who had a big impact on Coastal HomeSchool's prior game. Faith posted 14 points, while Essenburg had eight points.

Alleluia Community's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Coastal HomeSchool, their loss dropped their record down to 11-6.

Alleluia Community came out on top in a nail-biter against Coastal HomeSchool in their previous matchup back in December of 2014, sneaking past 61-59. Will Alleluia Community repeat their success, or does Coastal HomeSchool have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
