Basketball Recap: Fox Lane Foxes vs. Harrison Huskies
It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Fox Lane can now relate to. They lost 54-32 to the Harrison Huskies on Saturday. It was the first time this season that the Foxes let down their fans at home.
Harrison was led to victory by Matthew Mccoy and Ben Ptashnik. Mccoy went 9-for-16 en route to 22 points, while Ptashnik shot 58% from the field to rack up 17 points. Mccoy's big performance that afternoon made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 22 points. Joseph Crupi was another key player, putting up five points and three steals.
Fox Lane's defeat dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Harrison, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-8.
Fox Lane does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Harrison, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 61-44 loss against Tappan Zee on the 27th.
