Greenbrier waltzed into their match on Tuesday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They came out on top against the Sylvan Hills Bears by a score of 3-1. Given Greenbrier's advantage in MaxPreps' Arkansas soccer rankings (they are ranked fifth, while Sylvan Hills are ranked 53rd) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Greenbrier pushed their record up to 14-1-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 13 goals over those three games. As for Sylvan Hills, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-8-3 record this season.

Greenbrier will be playing in front of their home fans against Vilonia at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Sylvan Hills, they will square off against Maumelle at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Sylvan Hills are facing Maumelle at the right time seeing as Maumelle are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
