Basketball Recap: Athens Drive Piles Up the Points Against Sanderson

Athens Drive waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the Sanderson Spartans, posting a 57-14 victory. The game marked the Jaguars' most dominant win of the season.

Athens Drive had a senior duo take command as Kianna Gulley went 6 for 10 on her way to 13 points and seven boards and Makenzie Kelly went 5 of 7 en route to 11 points and six steals. Kelly has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last five times she's played. Another player making a difference was Ava Sheppard, who posted eight points.
