Geraldine hasn't had much luck against Pisgah recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Geraldine Bulldogs will be playing in front of their home fans against the Pisgah Eagles at 4:30 p.m. Geraldine is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.2 runs per game this season.

Geraldine's tournament run continued when they took on White Plains on Saturday. Geraldine fell just short of White Plains by a score of 2-1. The match marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Kennedy Cook spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on three hits and racked up 11 Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Geraldine saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Amelia Cofield, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Meanwhile, Pisgah was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against Fort Payne, falling 10-4.

Geraldine's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Pisgah, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4.
