Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Delta). They were the clear victors by an 8-0 margin over the Rossford Bulldogs on Thursday. Winning may never get old, but Delta sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.
Their offense was hitting Rossford from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Eli Armstrong led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.
Delta's victory bumped their record up to 10-8. As for Rossford, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 11 of their last 12 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-16 record this season.
