There's no place like home for Phoenix Christian, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. They blew past the Camp Verde Cowboys 65-44 on Friday. The Cougars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matches by 21 points or more this season.

Despite the loss, Camp Verde saw an underclassman step up: freshman Angel Russell-Moss posted 11 points and eight boards. Another player making a difference was Clancy Murdock, who put up nine points and five steals.

Phoenix Christian's win bumped their record up to 11-9. As for Camp Verde, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-12.

Phoenix Christian has already played their next game, a 40-33 loss against Gilbert Classical Academy on the 27th. As for Camp Verde, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 53-33 victory against Scottsdale Christian Academy on the 28th.
