The York Dukes will venture away from home to square off against the Twin River Titans at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. York is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.7 runs per game this season.

On Friday, York came up short against Wayne and fell 6-2.

Kain Combs was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double. Declan Peterson was another key player, scoring a run while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 14 runs the game before, Twin River was a bit more limited in their matchup on Thursday. They fell just short of South Sioux City by a score of 2-0. The game marked the first time this season in which the Titans were not able to get on the board.

Twin River moved to 4-2 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for York, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-5 record this season.
