Brighton put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Troy Colts.

Riley Copenhaver paced Brighton's offense, picking up seven kills. Copenhaver got some help from Delaney Gilmore and her 15 assists. Cynthia Ockerman controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Brighton's win bumped their record up to 8-0. As for Troy, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Brighton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Royal Oak on the 23rd. As for Troy, they will challenge Lakeland at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
