Volleyball Recap: Huron Tigers vs. Edison Chargers

Huron won the last time they faced Edison and things went their way on Thursday too. The Tigers put the hurt on the Chargers with a sharp 3-0 victory.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-13, 25-15.

Mya Smith paced Huron's offense, picking up nine kills. Smith got some help from Reece Hotz and her 37 assists. Hotz also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Avery Bork, each putting up three.

Taylor Moore and Paige McFadden certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Moore had 15 digs and three aces, while McFadden had 15 assists and seven digs. Moore is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last 38 games she's played dating back to last season.
