Volleyball Preview: Hondo Owls vs. Lytle Pirates

Meanwhile, Lytle didn't have quite enough to beat Crystal City on Tuesday and fell 3-2. The Pirates have struggled against the Javelinas recently, as their game on Tuesday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
Lytle started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 23-25, 25-11, 25-19, 15-7.
Hondo has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 27-7 record this season. As for Lytle, their loss dropped their record down to 14-19.
