Baseball Recap: Sotomayor Makes It Ten in a Row on the Road

Sotomayor had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the six-run drubbing they dealt Veterans Memorial on Tuesday. The WILDCATS put the hurt on the Patriots with a sharp 10-4 victory.

Evan Fine was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with three runs and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Angel Mendoza, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI.

Sotomayor pushed their record up to 15-6-1 with the win, which was their tenth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.2 runs over those games.
