It was a good run, but St. Ursula Academy unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Thursday. They took a 9-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Weir Red Riders.

Sydney Schlachter was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Avah Santibanez, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI.

St. Ursula Academy's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Weir, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-4.

Looking ahead, St. Ursula Academy will head out to take on Bowsher at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Arrows are facing the BlueRacers at the right time seeing as the BlueRacers are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Weir, they have already played their next game, a 6-4 win against Greeneville on the 18th.
