Baseball Recap: Ithaca Finds Home Field Redemption Against Weston

There's no place like home for Ithaca, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They walked away with an 8-3 victory over the Weston Silver Eagles on Thursday. This was a revenge game for the Bulldogs: when they faced off against the Silver Eagles back in April, they had to take a 2-0 defeat.

Ithaca is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.1 runs over those games. As for Weston, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-5.

Coming up, Ithaca will square off against River Valley at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Weston, they will challenge Seneca at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
