Preview: Edinburgh Lancers vs. Hauser Jets
Edinburgh is 2-8 against Hauser since December of 2014 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The two teams will face off at 7:30 p.m. on December 15th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Edinburgh has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
Edinburgh scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They walked away with a 69-60 win over Milan. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
It was another big night for Connor Ramey, who scored 37 points along with six rebounds and five steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Edinburgh's points. Another player making a difference was Rylan Londeree, who scored 15 points along with three steals.
Hauser has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matchups by 24 points or more this season. Everything went their way against Union County on Saturday as Hauser made off with a 65-41 victory. Given Hauser's advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 135th, while Union County is ranked 344th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Edinburgh has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season. As for Hauser, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1.
