Preview: Tri-Valley Bears vs. Chester Hambletonians
Tri-Valley has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will take on the Chester Hambletonians at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Tri-Valley will be strutting in after a win while Chester will be coming in after a defeat.
Tri-Valley scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They strolled past Eldred with points to spare, taking the game 52-36. Tri-Valley pushed the score to 44-22 by the end of the third, a deficit Eldred cut but never quite recovered from.
Meanwhile, Chester came up short against Goshen Central two weeks ago and fell 59-46.
Tri-Valley's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Chester, their defeat was their eighth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-4.
Tri-Valley was taken down by Chester 57-25 in their previous meeting back in December of 2022. Thankfully for Tri-Valley, Alexander Bastian (who scored 26 points) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result? Check MaxPreps.com after the match to find out.
