Winning always takes teamwork, but on Wednesday Christian Hurt stepped things up a notch to give Mt. Zion the 'W'. Hurt scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-5, which was good enough to set a new career-high in hits.

Hurt's strong effort led Mt. Zion over Douglass and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Bulldogs are a perfect 3-0 against the Astros going back to February of 2019, a lead they'll look to extend.
