Baseball Recap: Mount Dora Christian Academy's Win Ends Five-Game Losing Streak at Home

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Harmony, Mount Dora Christian Academy was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 12-10 win over Umatilla. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for Mount Dora Christian Academy considering their two-run performance the game before.

Mount Dora Christian Academy got a great performance from Ethan Priest as he struck out nine batters over 4.2 innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off six hits. That's the most strikeouts Priest has posted since back in March of 2024.

At the plate, Britton Wise was incredible, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and two RBI. Alex Wise was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.
