The Cuyahoga Heights Red Wolves will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Elyria Catholic Panthers at 6:45 p.m. Cuyahoga Heights will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
Last Friday, Cuyahoga Heights had just enough and edged Independence out 49-46. Given Cuyahoga Heights' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 188th, while Independence is ranked 470th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, Elyria Catholic pushed their score all the way to 59 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. The contest between them and Westlake wasn't particularly close, with Elyria Catholic falling 76-59.
Cuyahoga Heights has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record this season. As for Elyria Catholic, their loss dropped their record down to 7-10.
