Volleyball Recap: Turpin's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Turpin had won three straight games and Mallory Thorn did her part to make it four on Tuesday. Everything went the Spartans' way against the Lebanon Warriors as they made off with a 3-0 win thanks in part to Thorn, who had 15 digs and two aces. She has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more digs the last four times she's played.

The final score came out to 25-22, 25-17, 25-22.

Lebanon's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Dillyn Tucker, who had ten digs and one assist, and Kate Nienaber, who had seven digs.

Turpin's victory bumped their record up to 14-6. As for Lebanon, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-13 record this season.

Turpin didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 defeat against Kings on the 9th. As for Lebanon, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Winton Woods on the 9th.
