Basketball Game Preview: Cabrillo Jaguars vs. Laguna Hills Hawks

The Cabrillo Jaguars and the Laguna Hills Hawks will face off at 10:30 a.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played.

Cabrillo saw some tournament action on Thursday. They took a 42-32 hit to the loss column at the hands of Valley Christian.

Meanwhile, Laguna Hills wrapped up 2024 with a 47-28 win over Fullerton.

Cabrillo has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-6 record this season. As for Laguna Hills, their victory bumped their record up to 11-3.

Cabrillo didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Laguna Hills when the teams last played back in December of 2023, but they still walked away with a 35-29 win.
