Soccer Recap: Immokalee's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Immokalee had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.5 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They came out on top against the LaBelle Cowboys/Cowgirls by a score of 4-2. Given the Indians' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 38th, while the Cowboys/Cowgirls are ranked 312th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Immokalee hit LaBelle with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Benslove St. Julien, Brihan Rodrguez, Leonardo Conception, and Holly Souverain.

Immokalee's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-2-1. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 15 goals over those three games. As for LaBelle, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-8.

Immokalee will take on Barron Collier at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Immokalee is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.5 goals per game this season. As for LaBelle, they will challenge Oasis at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Oasis also hasn't been messing around on offense: they've averaged 4.7 goals per game.
