Archbishop Curley won the last time they faced Chapelgate Christian Academy and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Archbishop Curley Friars managed a 52-47 victory over the Chapelgate Christian Academy Yellowjackets.

When it comes to explaining why Chapelgate Christian Academy lost, don't look at Landen Custis. Despite the final result, he went 7 of 13 en route to 19 points in addition to seven boards and four steals. That's the most steals Custis has posted since back in November of 2024. Justin Davis was another key player, putting up 11 points.

Archbishop Curley's win bumped their record up to 6-9. As for Chapelgate Christian Academy, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-14 record this season.
