Soccer Game Preview: Bradley-Bourbonnais vs. Pekin

The Bradley-Bourbonnais Boilermakers will be taking part in a tournament against the Pekin Dragons at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Bradley-Bourbonnais is headed into Friday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Tuesday. They lost 8-0 to Lincoln-Way East. While losing is never fun, Bradley-Bourbonnais can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois soccer rankings (they are ranked 149th, while Lincoln-Way East are ranked 11th).

Meanwhile, for the first time since back in March, Pekin was forced to settle for a draw on Wednesday. They and Normal West finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw.

With that draw, Pekin's record moves to 4-6-2. As for Bradley-Bourbonnais, their loss dropped their record down to 7-7.
