Volleyball Recap: Troy Comes Up Short

Troy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Brighton Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 on Saturday.

Troy's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Brighton, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 11-0.

Coming up, Troy will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Lakeland at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Brighton, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Saline at 7:00 p.m. on September 4.
