Bishop Ludden entered their tilt with Living Word Academy on Monday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They blew past the Lions 3-0. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Bishop Ludden was especially dominant in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-6, 25-20, 25-18.

Riley Abernethy paced Bishop Ludden's offense, picking up seven kills. Abernethy got some help from Ava Christodoulou and her ten assists. Abigail Mossotti controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Bishop Ludden's victory bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Living Word Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Bishop Ludden will venture away from home to square off against Weedsport at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Living Word Academy, they will square off against Hamilton at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
