Football Recap: South Jefferson Comes Up Short

South Jefferson lost against New Hartford back in September of 2021, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. South Jefferson had to suffer through a 41-14 loss at the hands of New Hartford. South Jefferson was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-7.

South Jefferson lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Brayden Miick, who rushed for 39 yards and one touchdown.

This is the second loss in a row for South Jefferson and nudges their season record down to 0-2. As for New Hartford, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Looking ahead, South Jefferson will challenge Mexico at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Spartans' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for New Hartford, they will welcome Institute of Tech at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
