Recap: Harding County Ranchers vs. Timber Lake Panthers
The Harding County Ranchers put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They claimed a resounding 56-22 win over Timber Lake on the road. Harding County has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matchups by 22 points or more this season.
It was another big night for Jaelyn Wendt, who scored eight points along with 11 rebounds and seven steals. She is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as she's now posted two or more in the last six games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Claire Verhulst, who scored 11 points along with three steals.
Harding County's win bumped their record up to 10-0. As for Timber Lake, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season.
Harding County will face off against New England at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Timber Lake, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Bison at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
