After having lost a blowout in their previous game against New Deal, River Road was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They walked away with a 14-10 victory over the West Texas Comanches. That's more bragging rights for the Wildcats, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Seth Underwood was excellent, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4. Anthoney Williams was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base.

River Road is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.3 runs over those games.
