Softball Recap: Greenwood Takes a Loss

Greenwood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Selinsgrove Seals, falling 13-3. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wildcats of the 18-3 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Greenwood's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Selinsgrove, their victory bumped their record up to 3-4.

Looking ahead, Greenwood will head out on the road to square off against Susquenita at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Blackhawks will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something the Wildcats surely won't give up without a fight. As for Selinsgrove, they will square off against Central Mountain at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Seals will need to watch out since the Wildcats have now posted at least ten runs in their last three matches.
