The Tullahoma Wildcats will square off against the Columbia Central Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.
Tullahoma took a loss when they played away from home last Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They claimed a resounding 43-0 victory over Franklin County. The matchup marked the Wildcats' most dominant win of the season.

Marvancy Johnson continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 147 yards and one touchdown while picking up 8.2 yards per carry, and also picking up 45 receiving yards and one score. Tullahoma is 4-2 when Johnson posts 80 or more rushing yards, but 1-2 otherwise. Lucas Reed was another key player, throwing for 129 yards and three TDs on only 12 passes.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Tullahoma was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 211 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Franklin County only rushed for -9.
Tullahoma didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Logan Brewer, Elijah Alexander, Sam Bobo, and Landon Price picked up one apiece.
Meanwhile, Columbia Central waltzed into their contest on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They had just enough and edged out the Knights 45-42.
Tullahoma better keep an eye on Daniel Booker. He was instrumental in Columbia Central's win, rushing for 262 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 13.1 yards per carry, and also throwing for 24 yards and one TD. With that strong performance, Booker is now averaging an impressive 110.5 rushing yards per game. Another player making a difference was Hason Baugh, who rushed for 111 yards and one score on only six carries.
Columbia Central's defensive line made their presence known, laying out Isaiah Batten six times. The heavy lifting was done by Toriano Baldwin and Jamari Hall, who racked up four sacks between them.
Columbia Central's victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Tullahoma, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
Tullahoma beat Columbia Central 13-0 in their previous matchup back in September of 2024. Will the Wildcats repeat their success, or do the Lions have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
