Softball Recap: Northwest Finds Playoff Glory Versus Norton

With a playoff win on the line, Northwest rose to the challenge on Thursday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Norton Panthers 6-4. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Indians as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.

Lola Bleakley was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Autumn Kennard was another key player, going 3-for-4 with one run.

Northwest's victory bumped their record up to 3-11. As for Norton, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-12-1 record this season.

As of now, neither Northwest nor Norton have any future games scheduled.
