Baseball Recap: West Sabine Tigers vs. Gary Bobcats
With a playoff game on the line, West Sabine rose to the challenge on Friday. They had just enough and edged the Gary Bobcats out 6-4. Winning may never get old, but West Sabine sure is getting used to it with their 17th in a row.
Cayson McBride was excellent, going 2-for-3 with four RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Kade Myrann, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3.
West Sabine's win bumped their record up to 19-3. As for Gary, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 15-8-1 record this season.
