Softball Game Preview: Delavan-Darien Comets vs. New Berlin West Vikings

The Delavan-Darien Comets are taking a road trip to challenge the New Berlin West Vikings at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Delavan-Darien has now lost 15 straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since April 5.

On Tuesday, Delavan-Darien came up short against Badger and fell 8-4.

Waukesha West hit New Berlin West with a four-run fourth inning on Friday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Vikings lost 11-1 to the Wolverines. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

New Berlin West saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Izzy Freisleben, who went 2-for-3 with one run.

New Berlin West's defeat dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Delavan-Darien, their loss dropped their record down to 1-17.
