Volleyball Recap: Las Lomas Extends Winning Streak to Five

It's playoff time, and Las Lomas had no trouble coming through when it counted. They came out on top against the Foothill Falcons by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday. The win was nothing new for the Knights as they're now sitting on five straight.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 20-25, 25-23, 25-21.

Asher Kemp paced Las Lomas' offense, picking up ten kills. Kemp got some help from Tate Thompson and his 38 assists. Kemp was also a major player on defense: he and Soren Olson shared the team lead in blocks, finishing with two each.

Las Lomas' victory bumped their record up to 20-8. As for Foothill, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 22-12 record this season.

Las Lomas wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-2 win against San Ramon Valley on the 8th. Foothill does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
