Soccer Game Preview: Scott vs. Oneida

The Scott Highlanders will take on the Oneida Indians at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Scott is looking to tack another W on to their season record, something they couldn't quite do against Union County on Thursday. The Highlanders and the Patriots finished up their matchup with a 1-1 draw.

Meanwhile, Oneida lost 4-1 to University School on Saturday. Oneida have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

With that draw, Scott's record moves to 1-2-1. As for Oneida, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4-1.

Scott couldn't quite get it done against Oneida when the teams last played back in March of 2025 as they fell 3-1. Can the Highlanders avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
