Spalding was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lamar County Trojans. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Spalding's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.

Coincidentally, Spalding and Lamar County will both be playing Upson-Lee the next time they take the court. The Jaguars will host the Knights at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Trojans will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
