Recap: Rockwell Marshals vs. Non Varsity Opponent
There's no place like home for the Rockwell Marshals, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road on Saturday. They strolled past Non Varsity Opponent with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 71-57. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Rockwell's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Luke Henderson, who scored 23 points along with nine rebounds. The match was Henderson's eighth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Roman Haueter, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten rebounds.
The win got Rockwell back to even at 4-4. As for Non Varsity Opponent, they bumped their record down to 41-105 with that loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.
Rockwell won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against St. Joseph at 5:30 p.m. on December 13th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Utah (St. Joseph is ranked 125th, while Rockwell is ranked 128th). As for Non Varsity Opponent, they will be playing at home against Thrall at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Thrall is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling.
