Baseball Recap: Chartiers-Houston Finds Home Field Redemption Against Bethlehem Center

There's no place like home for Chartiers-Houston, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They put the hurt on the Bethlehem Center Bulldogs with a sharp 6-0 win on Wednesday. The victory continues a trend for the Buccaneers in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won nine in a row.

Brady Robaugh looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (four).

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Justus Buckingham, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-3. J J Livingston also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Chartiers-Houston was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .393. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Bethlehem Center only posted a batting average of .087.
