Basketball Recap: Green Bay East Find Success

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Seymour, Green Bay East was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They managed a 53-49 win over the Sheboygan South Redwings. For the Red Devils, this counts as revenge for the 50-42 victory the Redwings walked away with the last time they faced one another back in November of 2023.

Green Bay East is also on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 6-10 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.8 points per game. As for Sheboygan South, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-12.

Green Bay East and Sheboygan South could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Wisconsin Rankings. Green Bay East will take on Xavier at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday down 262 places (368 vs. 106). Similarly, Sheboygan South (ranked 337th) will meet Green Bay Preble (ranked 151st) at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
