Football Recap: Andrews Takes a Loss + How To Watch

If Andrews was riding high fresh off their 59-6 takedown of Burke last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Yellowjackets received a blow on Thursday as they fell 28-14 to the Philip Simmons Iron Horses. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Yellowjackets of the 50-22 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in November of 2024.

Hayes Goddard had another great game (as he tends to do), throwing for 328 yards and three touchdowns while completing 76.9% of his passes, and also rushing for 55 yards on only six carries for Philip Simmons. Those 328 passing yards gave Goddard a new career-high. Philip Simmons also got a significant boost from Omonte Taylor, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 84 yards.

Andrews' defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Philip Simmons, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 8-2.

As of now, neither Andrews nor the Iron Horses have any future games scheduled.
