Preview: Bolton Bulldogs vs. Coventry Patriots
The Bolton Bulldogs will head out on the road to challenge the Coventry Patriots at 6:45 p.m. on Monday. Bolton has now lost 18 straight, leaving the team is hunting for their first win since December 15.
Last Friday, Bolton was the victim of a tough 65-41 defeat at the hands of Granby Memorial.
Despite the loss, Bolton got a solid performance out of Somari Brown, who scored 12 points along with three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Andrew Baranov, who scored nine points.
Coventry won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Friday. They were dealt a 70-41 defeat at the hands of Somers.
Bolton's loss was their ninth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-18. As for Coventry, their defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-8.
Bolton opened the new year with a less-than-successful 56-43 defeat to Coventry. Can Bolton avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
