The biggest upset of the week belonged to William Floyd, who defeated 82nd ranked Sachem North, 42-14.

Commack added to the longest winning streak in Section 11 Division I this week by beating Lindenhurst, 28-21. This was the team's sixth consecutive win.

William Floyd's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Colonials feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Eric Brust has thrown for 180 yards and 2 touchdowns this season, while Jawan Jenkins has 4 catches for 73 yards.

A big matchup in the league this week will be when Commack takes on Ward Melville. As it stands, Joe Reggio's team is in first, while the Patriots are in seventh.

The Colonials moved up to 132 from 196 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. William Floyd climbed the ranks as a result of beating Sachem North 42-14.
