Football Recap: Falls City Takes a Loss

Falls City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 14-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Nebraska City Pioneers. The contest marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Blakely Sells threw for 185 yards and one TD. Jayton Wilkerson was his top target, picking up 108 receiving yards.

Falls City's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Nebraska City, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Coming up, Falls City will head out on the road to square off against Auburn at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Nebraska City, they will host Syracuse at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Rockets' defense has only allowed 13 points per game this season, so the Pioneers' offense will have their work cut out for them.
